Dion Mnyazwa Masombuka

Dion Masombuka is the Founder and Director of Thabethe Accountants and Tax Practitioners, bringing more than two decades of experience across financial management, accounting, taxation, corporate finance and business leadership.

His professional career spans both the private and public sectors, where he has held senior finance and management positions within established South African organisations. His experience provides a strong foundation for advising businesses on financial management, statutory compliance, taxation, reporting and strategic financial matters.

Academic Background

Dion completed his postgraduate studies through the University of South Africa (UNISA), including a BCompt Science degree and Honours qualification.

He also completed and graduated from the PricewaterhouseCoopers Accountants and Auditors Programme (Articles), gaining practical professional experience within the accounting and auditing environment.

In addition, he completed Business Leadership studies at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), further strengthening his leadership, management and business capabilities.
